Hello, I have a 10 year old son that has been in TSD since he was 3 1/2 and is a 1st Dan in TSD. He has studied 2 years of TKD w/me a 3rd DAn until I was in an accident and know often wheelchair bound. Anyway, we live in Davison, MI and are looking for a GOOD, QUALITY, martial art school. Affordability is very important(I am a single parent w/no fatherly assistance). We are really open to other styles but probably for open to JKD or real life self defense type styles over the artsy type. My son loves competitions and does excellent in them. He loves sparring, weapons and breaking. He likes Hyungs also but they are not a favorite. He is very mature for his age, attentive, disciplined and loves martial arts and school.
If anyone knows of a QUALITY, facility w/great instructors please email me. enviro_phd@yahoo.com

Muskegan,,hmm according to mapquest it is 2 1/2 hours west of Flint. So it would be close to a 3 hour drive one way from us. Thanks for the idea though. The local school here are a mess! It would be sooo nice to a some martial arts schools open around hear that want to teach and keep the ideas instead of just Money...

You might want to check out warrior way( www.warriorway.com ) in Walled Lake, or Cooper's Kickboxing in Detroit. Or even the Midland Muay Thai Academy in Midland. That's about all I know on your side of the state! Hope it helps!
