Default Week Long Intensive Krabi Krabong

Hi, my name is Brian and I just finished a week long intensive training in Krabi Krabong with Ajarn Stephen Wilson. I would like to thank first the Thai people for sharing this gem with the outside world and Mr. Wilson for opening up his home, giving his time and introducing me to some great people (Bruce, Dan, Jeremy thanks for all the help). That trust he had in me, a perfect stranger, is rare in the world these days. During my week training with Mr. Wilson I found out how tuff Krabi Krabong really is. It may seem simple, but for it to be effective it needs to be done in correct form and effortlessly. Which means repetition, repetition, repetition. It physically and mentally drains you. But if you make it past that it becomes alot of fun. We worked with the staff, double swords, single sword and spear while I was there. We also spent alot of time with the Wai Kru and Ram Muay. I am fortunate for having gone through this experiance, and hope I can continue with my study of Krabi Krabong, but thats up to me now. For any of you who are interested in Krabi Krabong or are into Muay Thai I strongly recommend giving this a try. It will change you physically, mentally and spiritually. By the way if you dont know, Oregon has alot of talented Martial Artists. Thanks again to Ajarn Wilson for having me as well as Bruce, Dan and Jeremy for working with me. - Brian
