Default what's Best remedy for a jammed big Toe?

Hey Gang, During sparring today, got it jammed while doing a teep kick. I've iced it down for about 30 minutes, and just wondering if I should just put on some tiger Balm or Icy Hot and leave it alone or something else I should do.

TIA,

Tiger balm or Icyhot won't do a thing. Take some ibuprofen and keep ice on it. 20 minutes on, 20 minutes off. No heat for 72 hours after the injury.

The best way to ice it is placing you foot in a bucket of ice water. Tough it out until your foot goes numb, no more than 20 minutes at a time in the ice bath.

Ever get a jammed finger from basketball? Same thing. Rest.
It's just a jammed toe, just don't make it any worse.

But if you want to continue training, modify your training so that you don't move or put pressure on the jammed toe.
Or better yet, some conditioning. If anything your entire body will get some rest from the pounding while you work on just conditioning your abs and upper body eh?
