Lightbulb speed bags

What do you guys think about the good ol' speed bag? I'm getting one soon and I wondered what you guys thought they were good for, and if they are of use to anyone besides western boxers.

They're good for strengthening your shoulders and endurance.
They're also good for helping you keep a solid punching rhythm.
You don't want to lose due to lack of punching!

when your running a bunch of different things into your circuit, that's a good bag to have in there.
