Please take this Question seriously
Ive been studying Krav maga for a year now and i love it. I want to get facial implants for cosmetic purposes. I am scared that i will have to give up martial arts because if i get hit it might shift the implant. I am wondering does anybody else have experiance or known someone with this problem.

Why are you asking us?
I'm being serious, this is something you should be asking your doctor, and also getting 2nd & 3rd opinions on from people in the medical field who have a basis of understanding in cosmetic surgery and sports medicine. We're just a bunch of yahoos on a message board.... |

Practice your 360's and inside defenses and you wont get hit in the face lol..

i disagree..I aint gay or anything but bruce lee was a good lookin dude..and so is Oscar de la hoya..my point is you dont have to be ugly to be a martial artists..i guess what ur trying to say is martial artists shouldnt give a damn what they look like..and your right! i cant stand thoses guys who do sexy poses infront of the mirror during shadowboxing..makes me want to finger-jab them in the eyes.

Well I was just poking fun at those guys. I myself am not that bad off, not trying to be cocky. Id say if you really are self concious about your looks, go for it. I think plastic surgery is great when used in the proper manner (burn victims, combat wounds, etc.) just make sure youre doing it for the right reasons.
Looks arent that important deep down. Looks get the girl/guy to talk to you, but its personality that keeps them. God its too early to be thinking |

yeah..looks counts only on the first impression for women theses days (u mustnt be that ugly though) i know alot of normal guys who get hot sexy women just by knowing how to chit-chat them...so why not re-think twice ur surgery?..with that money get something useful instead
