March 11, 2006 - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

H2H APOCALYPSE - International Muay Thai Event!!

The Calgary Amateur Kickboxing & Muay Thai Association presents:
Canada vs. the World in preparation for the IFMA World's. CANADA battles JAPAN, THAILAND, GERMANY, CZECH REPUBLIC, SCOTLAND and the USA! Canada's Top Muay Thai talent prepares for the upcoming IFMA World Championships in Bangkok, Thailand (featuring participation by 100 countries)
by hosting the last fight event in Calgary before this prestigious event in May/June 2006.

FIGHT CARD

Calgary's Jesse 'Smiles' Miles taking on Amir Tarmized (Germany) for an Intercontinental Muay Thai Title (full rules). This is Jesse's first go at a title shot in his hometown of Calgary. Following the footsteps of Mike Miles, Jesse blazes a path of his own. "I want to win this title at home and then I want to bring back the IFMA World Title for all my family, friends, and peers. I won Silver in 2004 and this year it will be GOLD! Let's get it on!", says Miles.

Professional Trevor 'T.N.T.' Smandych takes on Naoto Seki (Japan) in a 5 round full Muay Thai rules match. Seki is an accomplished Muay Thai athlete having beaten some well known athletes from Thailand and has also competed in Mixed Martial Arts. "I have wanted this fight for quite some time", says Smandych, "and it has come true. Time to rumble!"

Calgary's Scott 'Pitbull' Clark takes on Jan Majorzky (Czech Republic). Two very aggressive fighters both wanting the victory as they look forward to the 2006 IFMA World Championships. "I intend to win this bout and then I will come home with the World Title from Thailand this year", says Clark. This will be an epic battle.

The under card features Canadian athletes against athletes from Thailand (2 women's bouts), Scotland, and the USA. The event will be rounded out with a CMTC-A Canadian Title bout.

This event is being filmed for television for broadcast in 2006.
