Has anyone tried wearing the Sprawl V-Flex XT for Muay Thai? I was looking at Muay Thai shorts, but I was wondering if it's a better to go for the Sprawl shorts instead.
My main concern is whether it'll restrict middle and high kicks. Back in the old days when I was learning Tae Kwon Do, the uniform was really good for high kicks. It looks like Muay Thai shorts are good for that too because it's wide and short. But what about the Sprawl shorts? I really like to look of the Sprawl shorts. I trying to stay away from Muay Thai shorts. Since Muay Thai shorts are quite short and I'm overweight, I'll look like Richard Simmons. LOL

As long as you purchase the V-flex XT split seam shorts you won't have any problems at all. The split seam doesn't restrict movement at all when you try to go for the high roundhouse kicks. I know of quite a few people that use it for both MT and MMA with 0 problems in the kicking dept.
