Default What do you guys make of this?

Okay...I've seen alot of people do breaking with their shins...now I know most breaks are tricks of physics...and that they have little applicable value against a moving and resisting opponent...but wouldn't it look cool to do this? Anyone know the trick? C'mon...
Anyone besides this guy?

baseball bat (which looks kinda thin...how hard is this to do, really?...I'm curious, should I give it a shot?)

I've round kicked through a baseball bat on two different occassions and broke one with an elbow strike. Wasn't too bad if you're shins are used to a little impact. The elbow strike through the bat gave me a horrible bruise and cut on my elbow. Won't be doing that one again! If fact, I won't be doing anymore breaking...not worth the risk to me.

Joko Ninomiya from Ashihara/Enshin Karate broke two at once with his shin! Wow!

Melchor Menor broke 4 for a documentary on the discovery channel not too long ago...

what's the probability of breaking my shin? I have pretty strong legs, but I've never attempted to kick THROUGH anything with my shin...although I have kicked trees as well as cement and marble pillars pretty hard (about 75%) before* and never injured my leg beyond the initial "oh shit it hurts", bumps and bruises.

*out of boredom, frustration, and just for shits and giggles...I know a solid oak, pine, cherry, or plum tree is NOT the same as a bananna tree...and certainly not a good way to build up your shins. It's stupid, but I've done it, knowing the consequences, and knowing that it wouldn't necessarily do me any good. (well...kicking anything does give you a sense of distancing...)
