I am 33 years old I will be fighting in an amature Freestyle tilte bout (MMA) in december, recently I have lost my sparring partner (boxing) to a shift change at work, and my second partner joined the Marines I need a guy between 150-170lbs who is looking to work, I don't want to get sharked, I have a gym 22 miles south of albany and have gear, if you are willing this would be a great oppertunity for both of us, I would even consider giving something for gas 1 a week, if interested please call or e-mail me at

I'm honestly interested but thats a haul for me. A good 5 hour drive from where I live in NJ. Not to mention you're like... a hell of alot more experienced than me and older XD

It would be a good oportunity for you but a 5 houd drive lol. This reminds me of the time that a boxing friend of mine told me that rick roufus was looking for a heavy wiegth sparring partner as he was training for a boxing fight. Milwakee was too far from my house in minnesota, it would have been a good opportunity to learn from a champion. Too bad you don't live in my area j.c. I'd spar with you, you sem like a motivated fighterand you shouldn't have to lok around for a sparring partner before fighting

I pretty much just do this as a hobby, keeps me in shape and such and I've been really into MT for atleast 3 years, so yeah. Now that I'm actually doing it, I'd like to have a sparring partner or atleast someone to do pad work with. Unfortunately, there is nobody around where I live willing to do so. I already have 2 other threads open across the boards proposing such things, but yeah. No luck so far.
