luckily the number of deaths was small, and most people were injured and not killed. i really hope there isnt anymore violence because of new years.

The priminister has announced that these (time bombs) have been masterminded by those who lost finacial and political interests from being over thrown. They were not connected to the southern insurgents. The police already have some leads from taxi driver who took the suspect around the monument before he planted the bomb.

One poor girl lost her leg and quite a few injured, im not sure of the official death toll. The bombs were all in busy popular party areas for New Years. Many believe the work supportors of the ousted governmnet to create instability and effect tourism, which is key to the Thai economy.
Always sad to hear of such news, i believe there was a bomb in Madid as well. (unrelated)
