Has anyone ever been to, or have any information on the training camps in Thai Land? I looked around and they are fairly inexpensive and you can go for as long as you want. Just wanted some feed back from you all.
Thx
JB

Smile Thai camps

JB2008,

I have been over to Thailand and trained in a gym on the outskirts of Bankok. It was around £100 a week and included food, accomodation and training. The training was pretty hard - up at 6 and running, then techniques and pad work before breakfast. Then go to sleep! Wake up in the afternoon and do it again - in all that heat!
I have all the details of the camp if you want me to mail them too ya.
The Thais were great company and seemed to enjoy having us around. Great training - very basic, over and over sort of stuff. When you come back you will be amazed at the diffence it has made.
Definitely one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
Do it

Nick

Thumbs up

My instructor has done some training in Pattaya (cheaper city than Bangkok), he told me that the cost was around $350 (Singapore dollars, maybe $200 USD) per month. Like Nick said this included training, accommodation, and food. The living conditions were quite spartan, but I feel this to be part of the experience. He told me that the training was quite intense and very humbling. He also told me it was an amazing experience. I'm waiting until I can get enough time off work to head up there and experience it for myself.
