![]() | How often do you hold these type of events? Do you ever post them on www.smokerfights.com? My instructor wants to get students involved in some of these smokers, so I am interested in learning more about them. |

![]() | We are trying to hold them every 3 months or so. I do not usually post them on that website as my website usually seems to be more up to date with events than that site is. Yes it is getting hot and we will be rolling up the two large roll up doors as it has been very cool at night. We will also have fans and lots of cold refreshments at the snack bar! Thanks for the replies and hope to see you out there it should be a really fun event. We already have about 8 fights pre-matched (including 3 fights with ladies) so if you have fighters and want to have them pre-matched before you come out please give us a call (909) 948-5425. We are looking for a kid about 9-10yrs old 70 lbs with no fights and a 130lb fighter with at least 5 fights. Let us know if you have anyone. Thanks again, Kru Bryan

![]() | Hey Double Dose, I was wondering what you need to get setup to run smokers. Do you have to have insurance, other then the insurance for having a school? Are these fights sanctioned in anyway, or is it just a network of people offering them? Do have a few other people I could contact about their events? |

![]() | Bolverk, As I am not legal council nor offer any legal advise in any way you must secure the services of someone who can answer your questions regarding legality, insurance etc. It is not sanctioned in any way. Yes, it is a network of different schools offering events so that their students can gain experience before having a sanctioned competition. This being said, the biggest thing you MUST do to hold a successful event yourself is to be part of and support others events. We take fighters almost every weekend to someone else's event and have been supporting other gyms events since the early 1990's. So, for any gym looking to get started holding events I suggest first supporting as many of the schools events around So Cal or wherever you are. Then you will have the support you need to host your own event. My success in this last event was only because I have been supporting other gyms for more than 15 years. I regularly post other gyms smoker fights on my site so keep your eyes on the events page and you may see a lot of other gyms you could contact regarding attending their events. Good Luck, Kru Bryan Dobler's Muay Thai www.GOKICKIT.com

![]() | Once again we had a great turnout and some spectacular fights! Just want to say thank you to everyone who participated and helped. The show went on very well. We opened with 3 young ladies doing the traditional Thai dancing. Half time had a great Krabi Krabong show w/Muay Boran. All in all there were a total of 8 fights and about 350-400 people! All this and there were 3 other schools putting on shows the same night WOW! Please check the website often, we will be adding several events in the next couple of days! We plan on doing another show in about 3 months. Thanks again to all! Kru Bryan www.GOKICKIT.com
