Phuket = (Poo - ket)

In the Royal Thai General System of Transcription "h" is used to denote aspiration when following k,p, and t. It blends as in english with c and s.

Very cool stuff myhk! I have been planning a training trip to Phuket for awhile too and its always good to see others' experiences. (by planning I mean hopelessly wishing I could afford it btw).

I LOLed at "can easily kill you with one blow." It definitely feels like that sometimes.
