Yep, Khun Kao is right, I'm a living proof :-) 14 Kg down and counting at a rate of 1kg/month. I know it's not much but I didn't want to end up being a sandbag without the sand, you know what I mean![]()
Not to be redundant, but the answer to your question is yes. Before you start though, you should know three very common side effects of Muay Thai when you train hard core:
1) Muscle soreness.
2) It gets you in Good Shape
3) It makes you an effective stand-up fighter
If you can't deal with these side effects, you should probably pick something else.![]()
i dropped 30-40 pounds my fist 9 months of MT just b/c it's what i needed to do to progress along with the rest of my school...it's great motivation.
smoke gets into your eyes as you try to have your opponent in your visual range, and everybody asks for a free smoke.
gonna go out on a limb here and say that muay thai alone won't make your weight perfect. it'll get you a good start, but later on down the road you'll have to do some external exercise (weights, cardio, etc) if you really want your body to look better.
hello,
still, muaythai is one whopper of a starting block on the race to fitness!!!
thanks
Definitely, I lost 10 in the first month that I've been going.
