Has anyone here trained in ethier of these places in Tucson? I'll be a Tucson resident this January. I plan to check them both out, but some pointers on where to train would be great. Thanks!

I am aware of Elite Muay-Thai. They are the only ones here affiliated with the TBA. Boxing Inc. is geared a little more towards Boxing & some Krav Maga to my understanding. Both are kind of pricey though. I'd be willing to train with you though. I've got room in my backyard & gear & have been training now since 93. Hit me up here if interested.

In my (albeit limited) experience, Boxing Inc. was a pretty lame box gym and the classes weren't that great. Elite Muay Thai is all right, check out Tactical Defence Academy too if you're looking for strictly Muay Thai. There's some BJJ in town too. I have a friend who was a Golden Gloves champion who does private sessions for free if you're looking for strictly boxing.

Well the main reason I ask is I need serious individuals to train with. People who know how to hold Thai pads & know what 13 count drills are etc..If you're interested let me know. I am currently training for the Police Academy so my cardio is getting alot better. Hope to hear from you.

I've got all my equipment set up in my backyard like the old days of Sijo Bruce Lee. I've got practically everything I need currently except for a few additions here & there. I'm serious but not overly serious you know. Self-Defense is the main goal, especially for the Academy.
