Default Anyone in St. Louis want to train some Kickboxing?

Anyone in St. Louis MO (Missouri) want to get together and box some? We have a training club of athletes of all levels that get together in rented space to train MMA Boxing, Clinch (control positions, hitting, throws, takedowns) and Ground fighting. We're drawing from Straight Blast Gym methodologies and concepts - training with Aliveness. We mostly train concepts from Western Boxing, Thai Boxing, Greco, Folk wrestling and Jits.

If you want to check us out, go to our website (link below.) You can email us there.

Hey just thought I might respond.
I live up in Normal, IL so I'm alittle too far to participate but I noticed while porusing your website that you borrow heavily from the Army's Modern Combatives videos.
If your interested in more info about MACP, Greg Thompson has just released this first book titled, "H2H Combat: Modern Army Combatives" on the MAC Program and in the forward to the book, written by Matt Larsen, you will see that I along with Greg Nelson and Manu Ntoh are the Level 3 (Boxing - Thai Boxing) contributers to the Army's cirricullum. here is an easy link for more info: http://www.thaiboxingnews.org/
The next wave of the future in opinion.

I appreciate that, bro. Actually, the drill links on our site are just some things I grabbed off of youtube. I'm in the act of collecting all the links to drills that I can find and putting them on that page, just as a service. But I really haven't watched them much yet - haven't had the time.

thanks, though, I'll have to take a look at them soon!

I'd LOVE to get some extra MT practicing in. What days do you work on MT?

Our schedule is up on the site at

http://www.stlouistrainingcircle.com/location.htm#times

and the calendar shows what we are working on each night. To be honest, our boxing has moved over to more Western Boxing w/ elbows/knees lately. But I intend to blend some Thai Kicks in soon. I just really wanted these guys to have good hand skills before they added in the kicks.

You're welcome to attend. Drop me an email.
