first running or skipping rope. Followed by this we do about 40 jumps. knees to stomach or other kind of jumps. We then do 400-500 jumping jacks. Drills such as 50 swing kicks for each leg on the heavy bag are also done at the end of class.

We also do ab exercises that are consecutive like 20 crunchs,20 oblique crunches for the left side, then side then leg raises then side bends, and two other exercises I cant remember....all done in a row without rest. Repeat...

For the upper body we also do 20 pushups wide hands, then 20 middle then 20 hands close together. Followed by 20 jumping pushups then 20 pushups where you lean on the right then left. All this is done consecutively as well without rest.

That is a average class where some conditioning may put into play. Most people in my gym workout with weights anyway... The running and jumping jacks are ALWAYs done in every class.

Holy crap. Does the instructor yell at you if you can't keep up with those drills?

Nope not at all...but pride itself is a powerful motivator. Last class we did 15 min of skipping rope then a round and a half of squat skips then a round of jumping from the ground to the ring then back down. But remember its not like we do ALL the drills every class its more like one select muscle group for a class.

Oh yeah we had a new one two classes ago. Its pretty cool. The instructor has a deck of cards....all 52 and he pulls out a random card, lets say...8 and we do eight pushups or 8 squats...the face cards are considered a value of 10 and the Ace is considered 11. We went through the WHOLE deck, it gets pretty tiring cardio wise, just because your getting down, then up then down..
