Default Kiatmoo9, Jocky and other gyms in Thailand

Hey guys,

Just finishing up my 5th month in Thailand and was thinking of leaving the North and heading to more central regions. Bangkok is a bit expensive, so I was thinking either just outside of Bangkok like Jocky's gym, orrrr Isaan. Has anyone been to any gyms in Isaan? Kiatmoo9 esspecially sounds good

Thanks in advance...

If you want any info on The Southern Islands (Koh Samui, Puket, etc or North Thailand Pai, Chiang Mai, etc, just ask).

I've heard good things about Legacy in Ubon from students, but haven't been there myself.

How did you like Bee's for training/life?

you are in Chiang Mai? Where to... I'm currently at Chay Yai...

True Bee's was good, but I didn't like Pai, too many Hippies smoking weed and getting wasted every day. One of Bee's trainers died in a motorbike accident less than a week ago too, so I decided to stay in Chiang Mai and let them take care of that you know?

The trining was mainly really tough pad rounds, it was all about getting in great shape and getting faster. technique was there and you could always ask for more, but Bee is just a monster and knows how Ferrang win fights you know?

Oops, forgot to update my location. I just moved back to Canada from Thailand last month.

I was living in a village in Mae Rim, and training at a small camp called Sit Tong Plee, and Lanna once in awhile to get some bigger bodies (I'm only 67kg, but there was only one guy at 70kg at my camp). Almost three years in Chiang Mai in total.

It's too bad about Bee's trainer. Unfortunately this happens far too often.

I have similar sentiments for Pai, but have learned to enjoy it occasionally (especially during low season!)

Fantastic. I really felt like family there. Only 1 or 2 trainers, but not many fighters. Training was training, and not social hour. I was the only foreigner of course, so I was able to practice my Thai a lot. Leaving that camp was one of the hardest parts of leaving Thailand.

Next time you are at a fight card, you might notice one of their fighters on it.
