Default Oil

I have a question that I can't seem to figure out. The oils that a fighter gets rubbed down with is that just a oil used for the prefight massage or is that an oil that is methanol based to help further relax the muscles. I know I use a methanol based oil to help prevent tightness and bruising, just wasn't to sure what it was.

its hot oil, makes you burn. you can buy it online and in martial arts stores, it works wonders.
i love it, id like to drink it but it would probably kill me.

Yes it's very similiar to a "tiger balm" or a ben gay.....it's used to warm up the muscle thus relaxing the body more. Also helps with taking hits as well as someone else mentioned earlier. It's good to use before training and again after with a good message if possiable.
