![]() | You know NOTHING of what Thailand is like - absolutely nothing - most people can't even speak two words of English, they live on the POVERTY line, and train on concrete and are outside, possibly in the rain. Why are you here? You already believe what you believe, and refuse to consider anything different, even when people who have been and trained there tell you how it is. I'm done. |

![]() | listen man you presume to know a lot about me when in reality you know nothing. you question how many hours i train and then when i defend that you question the quality. so if i continue to defend that and put my traing regime on here you will come back with something else...... you are really being childish man. the reason i am here is because this is my post/thread. the more appropriate question is why are you here? to me it seems like your just trying to start a fight... i have been appreciative to everyone who has made a post and expressed that by saying thank you almost every time. you on the other hand have plastered your posts with assumptions and vulgarity. i really would appreciate it if you would not continue to post in this thread. thanks again

I said nothing of your training quality. You should have very good training in your gym. I hope you do as you intend to go to Thailand! I just said training 6 hours at home is nothing like training in Thailand, which as I keep reiterating, you know nothing about. (or you wouldn't be here asking?) Dumbass. I am calling you out because you think that your training at home means you will be in fantastic physical shape to train in Thailand for over 6 hours a day, which is untrue, due to the previously mentioned facts. And obviously because of the way you talk you sound like a bit of a piece. Dumbass. When I asked why you were here, I meant in terms of the forum, because you are not listening to anything anyone says, so there's no point in you being here - not the individual post. That one gets you a 'Jesus... How f**king stupid are you'. ![]() Please be my guest and point out the 'assumptions' I have made. The ONLY assumption I made was that of your gym, after I offered lots and lots of suggestions and advice, may I even be as bold to say it might even have been useful insight. Can you even read? As I said, the only assumption I made was to your gym, and I am 100% sure that this is true, just by your character and how you have searched for a 'thai gym', when, stealing Ghost's comment, you seem to be most interested in, a 'holiday camp'. Dumbass. Before, you said that you didn't care about other's opinions. Which is why I kept asking, WHY ARE YOU HERE? Dumbass. (If confused, please refer to aforementioned point). And saying thanks means nothing when it appears so brazenly that you don't mean it - empty words. Dumbass. And finally, for giving you the time of day via the internet, clearly makes me the dumbass. But it's my lunch break and I fancied some entertainment. I apologise to the other members of the forum, and hope that they will forgive me this rant.Ps. You're a dumbass. Pps. I hope this post met your criteria for vulgarity and offensiveness

![]() | I know, I really hate how immature and childish I am! but seriously, I'm not sure how you can say something like that when you wrongly accused me of saying lots of things I never said. You are more than welcome by the way. Enjoy Thailand. ![]() <--- is considering writing a hollow 'thanks' at the end of every post he makes. |

![]() | Another example of one of your assumptions. You assume my thanks are hollow when in fact they are sincere. Even for you and your efforts to be intentionally confrontation for the point of entertainment (your words). With everything in life good and bad, there are efforts and opportunities to grow and prosper, so for that I thank you. "Look upon one who tells you your faults as giving you a hidden treasure..." -Dhammapada 76 So sincerely thank you for giving me a hidden treasure... the gift of you. thanks again (no, sincerely i meant it)

![]() | edited as my post was unneeded. I have heard good things about the camp figjam, but I was looking for a better place but couldn't find it - someone on another forum was going on about a camp they found in phuket that was near Tiger Muay Thai but much, much better... |

![]() | Can someone answer the question that i posted above. The training looks pretty serious and they have a couple Thai fighters that train with them. Just wondering if anyone has any experience or knowledge about the camp. Thanks, |

![]() | Thats good to hear, what i have seen of the gym, it looks pretty legit, not to much like a holiday resort. Might give it a go next year. See how money flows. Cheers, |

fire cobra prefers camps that are pukka (thorough bred) muaythai, that do not cater to foreign students, and enjoy the blood brother atmosphere. Good for him. But it's difficult for foreigner to break this barrier and get accepted. I don't mind commercial camps, as long as they provide true muaythai training, ie one on one pad work and sparring as well as clinching, without having to lick the balls of trainer, so to speak. Then there are students who rave about camps that make income from unknowing foreign students. These camps are not thieves, and their rates are quite low. Regretfully, these camps are generally owned or co-owned by foreigners and are at the mercy of local trainers. Pls remember that even training at these camps will probably be better than what is available back in Europe or US, for the equal amount of money. These camps will accept any student, so during high season, most new students will get only bagweork, unless he is willing to slip gratitues to his trainer. There are plenty of muaythai camps in all three categories in Thailand. Prospective should do a little more searching for the first two. The touristy type can generally be found at resort destinations. BTW I've trained at both Lanna and Fairtex, and I wouldn't train at Lanna again, while I regard Fairtex as the besat camp in Thailand. Chaiyai in Chiangmai is a much better option if you're heading for Chiangmai.

agreed with much of what you posted. Only question, what didn't you like about lanna and why prefer Fairtex so much? Also, I was planning on going to Holland to do some K1 style training at one of the good gyms there... (close to me, being in teh UK.)
