![]() ![]() | I tend to like to use my hands and now my knees but i know i have to enter smoothly to a good set up. I have been working on short sharp teep into the opponents thigh, stealing a step into a one-two or jab-hook off the front hand into a knee. Simple sort of entry but then adding the fakes and feints in after maybe seeing how the opponent reacts. Been working on the pole, the short teep into the leg then firing into the chest or center mass of the opponent if he moves forward off the first teep. The pole or stationery target is great for testing your balance and penetration. They use it alot in my camp. Its kind of like the old school bare knuckle type of training which they still do against stationary objects. Anybody can share about how they get in with their setups to score their favorite techs? |

![]() | For me i like to set up leg kicks and leg kicks entries. With the growth of mma, and the overuse of the leg kicks, its a bit tougher to score it now. But i like to work in the fakes, one the best is hit the leg kick or score it clean, then fake it and drive right into a centerline teep. Works really good. |
