would I get anything out of this gym?

I'm EXTREMELY interested in getting into muay thay, but where i live, i cant seem to find any gyms on the internet.

The only one ive found, is West Texas Mixed Martial Arts&Fitness
but this seems way too oriented on MMA and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

do you think i could get some good training there, or is it possible that there are some decent places that i wont be able to find on the internet.

i live in Midland, Texas BTW

is saekson janjira's school far from you?

    http://www.saekson.com

Maybe check in with him to see who he recommends in your area if he is too far.

The other school is MMA intensive. The stand up is probably designed to prepare you for MMA. probably a very good workout. But if you want strict muay thai then you might have to look elsewhere. If you are looking to train hard that school is probably not bad.

Maybe someone here knows the school or can recommend something.

Outside of that, maybe you can train a class and see how it is.

Email or Call Tim Mousel's school. He is the Houston Branch director for the Thai Boxing Association of the U.S.A.

He should be able to help you locate the nearest Muay Thai school in your area.

I recommend you training Muay Thai at Thailand camp such as Fairtex or Propamuk gym. You will get the best experience of Muay Thai.
