I'm heading up to Thailand (Bangkok and Chiang Mai) this weekend to do a little recce... I plan to take in some Muay Thai.
Apart from Ratchadamnoen and Lumpini, does anyone have any info on other venues? Any in Chiang Mai? Thanks, Tony

Sorry, I don't know any real details for finding the thai fights up there, but I just wanted to suggest that you do some shopping for training equipment while you are there. My brother went to thailand recently and bought a crapload of quality training equipment (several pairs of sparring gloves, bag gloves, two headgears, thai pads, shin guards) for an insanely cheap price compared to what you'd have to pay for the same stuff here in the States. So after yo watch the fights, go stock up on the gear!

Check out Lanna Muay Thai Tranning Camp. They've got a great website:
www.lannamuaythai.com I'm planning to go for the first time next year. I would also be interested in Krabbi Krabong (sp.?) if anyone out there has contacts. good luck |
