Perhaps only a caution: If you don't keep your hands up you will be seeing double of everything.

asian journal of martial arts -
there was a 20 or so page article on physics studies in the martial arts - evertyhing from impact to VO2 max of athletes. Also there are some other books on physics and martial arts incorporating math.

What level are you at? You could do a million and a half things. There was also this program on the discovery channel that used infared lasers to measure the velocity of a kung fu dude breaking boards and an average joe - other stuff like that.

Most of the math is physics based. Coudl you post the paper when your done too? I'm pretty interested in this stuff.

Thanx so much for the info. The end piece will actually be a work of art, not a paper, but I will let you know if I find anything interesting.

If it's visual art, maybe try and incorporate the angles... just a thought.

If it is going to a visual study, I might be able to help you out. I'm a graphic artist by trade. Your project sounds interesting. Why would you need to know the math? Is it an animation?
