i got kicked really hard while running drills with a pro fighter. he kicked me really hard in the quad, then i kinda limped away, and then wanted to go at it again, and he kicked me in the same place, and my leg for the past two weeks has been really messed up. I have problems and lots of pain puting my calf to hamstring; the quad is extremely tight. its also sore to the touch. I have been iceing and heating like crazy even massageing the damn thing with bengay and a massager. I have been going in the jacuzi, and nothing seems to help at all. Its kinda scaring me to be honest. Its also swollen a bit, not to bad, but its hard to the touch, and there is a small brown bruise on my leg. I haven't experianced any numbness at all anywhere, so i don't think its neseccary to go to the doc.. i was just wondering if this has ever happened to any of you guys that train and how long of a time i have to look at for healing.
thanks, |

Hi,
never underestimate an injury. Go to a doctor would be my advise.... One time, I gave a low kick and he blocked it with his knee, and my whole under part of the leg (shin, etc) did hurt and i wasnīt able to walk normal for 2 weeks. Thatīs the only (great) pain i had to manage so far... And yes I had to go to a doctor as well but I didnīt. I still have some pain on the same leg and perhaps when i did visit the doctor...no pain at all anymore.. Bye bye, ~BlackSnow~ |

I broke my wrist three times in a row. First time I waited two days before going to the doctor ... no problems. My cast came off early and the same day I landed on it and broke it again. This time I went back immediatly.
Third time(about 2 weeks after complete healing). I was drunk and I was in a fight .. I cant remember what happend but I woke up with a broken wrist again. It was starting to cost too much to get it fixed etc and it didnt hurt as much as the last two times, so I just bandaged it up and pretended it wasnt broken. Its heal'd all wrong and I get slight pains in my wrist now and then .. nothing that really bothers me .. but its something Im aware of. GO TO DOCTOR ![]() |
