Jean-Claude Van Damme is short

i heard that Jean-Claude Van Damme only hires short people to fight in his films to make him look taller! is he denial or something? is he really so desparate to prevent anyone from knowing his true heaight? why cant he just say: "im short. but it doesnt matter because im a good enough fighter to know my weaknesses and use skill to get around them."

i apolojise to everyone for starting a thread on something so trivial and for the fact ive forgotten how to spell apologise. oh. never mind.

Yes Van Damme is very short. He's like 3 foot 2 or something. Not only does he require dwarfs to fight him in films but the back drops and scenery also need to be reduced which can be very costly. That is why most of his films are crap, because the budget was blown on making tiny little houses, miniature cars, miniscule motorbikes and eeny weeny little guns.

He can still kick quite hard though.

Hey man, which other clips? The only ones I have from you are two versions of the kick knockout (by the way I'll put the smaller file up on my site somewhere soon).

lol that is hilarious. so small they have to make little dolls house furniture for him and he has to fight midgets. no wonder he wants to hide it, he is completely ridiculous. god deserves an award for comedy for making a world with so many crazy people.

Looking at old pictures of Van Damme, I'm realizing he must have done some amount of steroids.

He is really built up. This may also make him look smaller.

They say what he lacked in height, he made up for in length
