No.

U can make your neck stronger though, wich stops your head from being jarred so violently, which is what causes concussion.

What about tying weights to a rope on one end and taking the other end of the rope and lifting it with your mouth......I never tried it, but can this pull your teeth out in the long run?

Wannabe, ask your coach. Each coach does a different thing.

All you can do for your jaw is tuck your head low & look though the top of your eyes & get a good guard.

How's it hanging Tom!!!!

Isolation exercies for neck no more than once a week , indirectly through other exercises as much as you like eg Grappling Drills .
Your body will usually tell you when to stop.

Tom

I was back in the gym 3 months after breaking my leg....ok i couldnt do much but now some 10-11 mths later (cant remember it seems so long) i can train on the thai pads with my hands & my left knee.....being 13.5 stone as apposed to my 12 stone when i broke my leg i now have the extra weight behind arms that solely relyed on skill & technique so i now hit VERY hard as apposed to just hard.....my leg tho has been left completelly away from impact like jumping jacks or running but iv'e started to try little hops on a mat like you do on a trampoline for about 10 sec's at a time.....i can only do light knees with my bad leg for 1-2 round's without any impact as the tendon on the inside leg just behind the knee gives me the most problems as it starts to feel like you've done hundreds of squats (remember they had to move my kneecap to one side to hammer the titanium rod down through the top of the fibia).....as for the shin itself it has a large lump of callis around where the break was but doesn't normally hurt when just boxing if i am mostlly static.....because i havent used my legs for so long they became looser so i tend to do the flicky kicks infront of the bag just to practice the movement of kicking....i hope to maybe start kicking the bag next year but i may just end up like Bill Wallace & use only my left leg if i get to much trouble..........trainings hard at the moment as all the fighters are preparing for a show soon........thanx anyway.

Consider some softer arts on your days off kickboxing , try some tai chi ...
Its excellent for nursing injuries...
