Default question about your training habits

hello all a few days ago i posted the following questions on the "underground forum" & got some interesting reply's. albiet only a few so i would be greatfull if the pure kickboxers on this board would take the time to answer these apart from just being nosey! i've decided to do an extra credit report in my exercise science class (summer term) on the training habits of kickboxers. well here goes it- 1) how many days a week do you train, 2) how many total rounds of gym work do you do between bag work, sparring, skipping, etc. 3) how many rep's of ab work do you do (in total) 4) how many rep's of push up's do you do (in total)...well thats it. thanks to all who take the time to answer!!

This is just me. When I'm not preparing for an UPCOMING fight-I train 3 or 4 days a week and I always warm upo with 15 to 20 minutes of jump rope. Ussually it will be like one day of just bag training doing about 12 rounds. Another day I'll do thai pad rounds ussually about 5 (but keep in mind I practically throw up from every rnd and I've been training 4 yrs) Another day will a long light session of lots of drilling and shadowboxing, and then light sparring and prumm(about 8 rnds of sparring). For a an upcoming fight it's at least 6 days a week, each day consisting of 3 hrs of thai pad work(6-7 rnds), bag work(3-5rnds), prumm(15 minutes at least). Twice a week will spar light sparring 8 rnds and maybe 3 or 4 rnds of hard sparring. each session calisthetics-50 pushups, 100 crunches. Whether I am training for a fight or not I run everyday (physical and mental shape) 3-6 miles. I also try and follow a little weight training program.

i go to 2 kickboxing lessons a week and if i got time i go to a boxfit lesson just to help my stamina. In an average lesson we usually do.. 5 minutes shaking out/stretching, then 20 minutes cardio. i cant tell exactly how many reps because it varies, but in total for the whole lesson maybe 50 pressups, 60 crunches/sit ups, 40 cat dips, 20 burpees, 40 squat thrusts, 4 rounds shadow boxing.

after the exercises we do 4 rounds hands only semi contact sparring, with the first round handicapped (like only jabs or one can use jabs and the other can use any hand combination), then the other 3 rounds freestyle hands only sparring.

then we'll do half an hour of pad work learning some kick and punch techniques, then we'll do 4 rounds hands and feet sparring, with 1 round feet only. then we'll do a bit of combat under pressure, like your partner will be against the wall and his rear foot cant leave the wall and he's only allowed to block and duck and weave while you throw any hand combination, we'll do around 3 rounds of that, switching between partners. then end the lesson with some stretching exercises.

on the days when im away from the gym i do maybe 20 pressups, then 40 reps of different variations of weights in the night before i go sleep.
