In Zoracs book , you see the fighters clinching . However , they interlace their fingers . I thought this isn't the way to do it . Can somebody comment why they would do it that way ?

PROs: Lacing your fingers allows you a bit better placement, specifically from your ulna bones, on the portion of your opponent's neck near the nerves in the spine.
CONs: You cannot do this with boxing gloves on. In addition, the couter is easy in that the opponent reaches behind his neck and grabs several fingers. |
