Why do you wanna swim if i may ask? Running is better for endurance. If you really wanna do stuff in the water try to run in water, squats, punching underwater, things like that.

How the hell is running better for your endurance? when you run you are using your lower body and a little bit of your upper body when moving arms, but swimming takes your entire body?? WTF!?!
please explain the biomechanics behind this

to the poster, your routine seems decent, atleast for now, Its not gonna build much strength, but your endurance should skyrocket doin this, try to do the excercies in a circuit, to make it as anaerobic as possible and then use the the swimming and running for aerobic endurance.

as "decypheredbeats" said running isn't better for stamina in keeps ur stamina ,
"terror" if u wanna increase ur stamina go for rope jumping or go for the punching bag do this 4 or 5 times a week for a couple of month and u'll see the difference ,and concerning the other things go for pullups pushups and setups i realized u only chose one set of situps increase situps and remeber if u wanna do weights go for really low weights but do alot of sets ,cause using heavy weights increase ur muscle mass thus making u much slower..

3 x 10 pullups
3 x 20 pushups
3 x 20 situps

running 30 min [ cardiovasticular right ]
swimming 30 min [ cardiovasticular right ]

i trained with weights 6 kilo each hand so now 4 is that ok?
4 x 20 biceps
2 x 20 bicpes and triceps
2 x 20 triceps
