Any recommendations? The only one I've seen is about a 40min minimum drive.

Looking especially for a place that is good for beginners who do not have dreams of being a pro fighter.

Looking for a kickboxing gym in tampa anyone? not having much luck... some good stuff in St Pete/Clearwatever but I dont wanna drive 1hr to get there.

Hey Badbeat, good to see someone else has to struggle with finding schools/instructors around here too.

Here's two that I know about for you.

Guro Ray Cole

Classes are 5pm-7pm Tues & Thurs

at

6211 N. 50th St., Unit F145
Tampa , FL 33610

It's a funny little unit in small industrial park that's been converted into a gym. Sounds funny, and looks like something out of fight club, but I love it. The also teach F.C.S. Kali there under Tuhon Ray Dionaldo (FCS/Sayoc).

The other one in the area (which I haven't been to yet but am planning on checking out this week when I have a moment) is Griffon Rawl MT. So check em both out and see which one suits your needs better. Oh, and let me know what you decide on, as I may see you at one or the other in the next month or two.
