Seems to be a few too many folks with too much time on their hands around here lately. I for one have little better to do while tending the needs of my wife. As some of you know she is a victim of advanced disease. (Cancer) My chores revolve around the house. My other job as a farm hand is kinda slow this time of year so I need no excuse to spend time in front of the monitor.

I hope the regular contributing members of this excellent forum will use the tools available to contain the recent troll activity and notify the moderators of the problematic posts.

Lets keep the standards high. We now have more than 10,000 members. Many of them are less active or board specific for the most part and many have moved on to other things. Most have regular FT jobs and are kind enough to take time to inform those of us with questions about the arts. I appreciate the many great teachers here and most of the folks are honestly making an effort to contribute in some positive way toward making this forum a great place to visit. This forum is an outstanding resource and a great place to research interesting topics about all kinds of martial related things of interest.

If I could strongly influence the creation of a new sub forum (the one were posting in) with a song, I feel I should get a little credit!

I think if we made a troll poll and put boarspear on it he would get "teh ban", not because hes a troll, just cause people dont like him!

Oh and Tant, I was gonna recommend you for the TrollPoll as the non troll who might get voted off too, theres a few people on the board who are generally right about most stuff, and alot of people dont seem to like them.

Actually the only person who is consistently right that people seem to like is that Mike_Brewer fellow, what a wierdo.....

Some forums have a "trial membership" period for new members. If they make friends, great. If they don't they just go away...It could last 30 days or 3 months, regardless of the number of posts. Those that contribute to the forum become registered users. The trolls that just want to bitch and moan or take things personally and use profanity without restraint can try to sign on to find out they have been denied access to the forum.
