in all honesty, i think the spyderco delica 4 is one of the best all around pocket knives ever made. small, people friendly, reliable, affordable. i prefer the fully serrated version myself.

I carry a knife, but only for utility purposes. Only use it as a weapon if I have to.

Best weapon is your head and a good pair of chucks (best shoes ever, black if you're cool like me, but they have other less aloof colors out there [like camo!]).

Best legal weapon to carry. If a cop asks you...tell him the only thing you intended to bully was the jukebox.

Yep old street guy told me about that trick. His friends would carry brass knucks and he'd carry a roll of nickels

There was an old Monty Python skit about training suicide soldiers. Anyone old enough to remember it besides me?

Wasn't that the Scotish highlander suicide school skit?

I can't say that I am, only being 18.

Intent alone can determine the legality of some things. Cops aren't that stupid (usually)

It falls into the fist load variety of weapons and it's an OLD trick.

Solution- use a couple quarters to play the juke box, or make change...that way you have a reasonable excuse to be carrying it. Let the cop hassle you, but it'll help the shit out of a legal defense.

Have a good time trying to prove intent. Where's the mes rea in efficiently carrying cash to play the jukebox? 4 quarters for five songs...it's intelligent to carry quarters that way, so they don't get lost in your pocket and kill your washing machine. How dare you insinuate that I'm a ruffian...I was protecting myself by grabbing whatever I had in my pocket at the time to defend myself, sir!

Shit...I may even SPEND the evidence before the cops show!
