Alright guys. We're all brothers and sisters here. No need to start stuff like that.

I always recommend carrying a couple of things. My personal favorite is a pen because it's so compact and works almost exactly like a knife. My other favorites are a flashlight for dark areas and a kali stick. As far as I know carrying a stick with you isn't illegal.

Here in Alaska, as long as you're 21 and aren't a felon, you can legally carry a concealed gun without a license. So my answer is "H&K USP .45 Compact" or "Rossi Model R46102 .357". We get mugged by them polar bears all the time.

Until I turn 21 though (and probably even then too), I'll continue to carry at least one of these at all times:

Pretty cheap-looking thing, and it was about $2.00 if I remember right, but I've been rough with it on things for about a year now, and it's done fine.

yeah i like the blade shape a lot too. even though it looks different, its pretty functional. ken onion is one of their main designers, i think the fact that he used to be an aeronautical engineer is part of the reason he is able to create such good functional designs. that particular knife is an assisted opener too. kershaw has been making a lot of good blades as of late.

remember all fights start before the first strike, if i were to carry any weapon, it'd be persuasive speach, attempt to escape from a fight. my personal rule is: Ask them once to leave you alone. then make eye contact, and says, please i dont want to fight you. then make an excuse if they still persist. and the fourth time. destroy them without mercy. or. if your feeling rather combative like i always am lol, give them 1 warning. if they persist... give them the works...
