Oh alright, here is one I can’t get into any trouble for.l

May 06 a couple of months ago.

I was jogging home from the gym after dark (a couple of miles). As I jogged I noticed a car coming up from behind me (sound and peripheral sight) when I saw a flash, I saw it as it nicked my shoulder a bottle (beer bottle). Without a misstep I immediately sprinted into the vacant field and hid behind some shrubs with my legal CCW weapon drawn (Glock19).

The car stopped and three teenagers got out and began looking for me in the field yelling, taunting, and throwing rocks and bottles. They could not see my position and the rocks/bottles were being thrown in the wrong direction 90’ to my right about 18 meters.

I could see the silhouettes and I maintained my position until they gave up and left. I got a plate number as I maneuvered closer and behind their car as they were getting in. I called it into the police when I got home. I heard later from a friend on the PD they got them for underage drinking and DUI later that evening.

Although they didn’t find me I had my weapon trained on them and if they would have found me…They would have been making a trip to the ER (or morgue) rather than jail.

Darrianation> That's a good story and one of the type you don't hear about where I'm from, unless you live on a farm, as it's illegal to carry a weapon of any sort in my country. To be honest it's too bad you live in a society where you need to carry guns. I spent 2 months in South Africa where gun crime is ridiculously high. I can understand the need for carry a weapon for self defence over there.
I hope crime in my country never gets to the point that I need to carry a weapon around with me.

I think the fact that he's going for a jog and carrying a gun pretty much sums its up for me. Would never happen where I'm from....and I'm not criticizing Darrianation or his country....my country is far from perfect but we don't carry guns. I prefer it that way, or I just don't know any different.

I'm not trying to criticize or offend anyone...that was just how I saw it.
