Weird. The "calm man" was a whole lot more calm than I would've been. I'd have knocked that fool out as soon as he got in striking distance.

I have seen the video clip before. A friend of mine who does Hsing-i said he recognized the strikes and such as coming from the art. The mental aspects they use during their training might be the reason he did not take part in the monkey dance going on.

The second the guy laid a hand on me in the doorway to my home I would have dressed him, skinned him, cooked him and ate him. With a nice chianti and some fava beans...

From what I can gather, the "calm guy" probably couldn't have eaten him or gotten upset without risking a coronary.

When somebody is puffing up like that, they are hyping themselves up for physical confrontation, it is a typical pre-fight ritual, the second they do that, catch them with their jaw open so that you can perhaps leave their tongue wagging on the floor when they bite it off.

Really...I promise I'm a nice guy.

As far as legal aspect goes, he handled that very well.

No one can say he was excessive or outside of his rights.

Yes. It was very impressive. I kind of wonder if the folks with the camera were part of an attempt to goad him into doing something stupid legally for the record. As things stand, they have nothing to go after this guy for money in a court of law.

The smart mouth dickhead displayed perfect pre-fight posturing where he put himslef in close quarter range, puffed his chest out, arms down and flared out at the sides (stupid mistake) and used verbal provocation. This is classic stuff.

I admire the restraint shown by the calm man, but if that was outside my house I don't know if I would have been as easy going.
