I definitely trust my products, I was just being nice.

I also have my teachers look at my formulas before I field test them though they told me I don't need to, oh and you have no idea what my herb background is or who I trained with.

here's some testimonials:

"I recently injured my shoulder while training. I was lucky enough to get my
hands on a bottle of desert dit da. I began to use it as part of my recovery routine with my shoulder therapy. This stuff is great and it works wonders. As soon as it soaked in any lingering pain faded away and allowed me to work on my rehabilitation routine. I highly recommend it!"

"my hands were really raw last night, after 2 hours of jiu-jitsu with the
gi, then an hour of escrima with grip work in between sets and then
sparring which always tears my hands up- the salve had them
looking almost as good as new this morning!"

Well since you were trying to pitch your dit da and I had no idea you were planning on just -giving- it away, I was gonna let you have it. And both those testimonials were written by people I gave free product to. I give away free stuff all the time. Including to forum members. Especially when they give out their addresses.

I also give my recipes away.

Hmmm, I thought that was the point of going to someone to get a knife made... So you can get it made to your specifications.

I hear you on the rest of your post though, good points.

That is cool. What I was asking about. Now I want a guild knife too, lol.

This was so inaccurate and pissed me off so much that I will send free dit da to any board member who asks me for it. Anyone who wants any send me a PM.

Super soft steel is no good at all, but in many cases, the hardest steels are just as worthless. Like most things, it's all about finding the right balance.
Thats why I prefer guild blades, differentally treated steels!! The spine has a lower hardness level and the cutting edge is harder, 3 layers of steel sandwiched for the best of best both worlds...but quality cost money IF Paul Bros isnt doing the heat treating, I dont want it...Rockwell hardness is everything.

The prototype cleaver I'm having made is going to be scaled in the translucent G10 to de-tactical it. If it passes my grip test all the blades in the run will be scaled that way, otherwise its going to be micarta. The cleaver I'm having done is a combination of these 2 and 3 finger cleaver blade styles Thats the translucent g-10 scales. The dark scales are the textured carbon fiber I passed on for the G10.
those cleaver lookin blades u posted look awesome.

Paul Bos (SP*) has an apprentice now that actually does most of the work these days.

Just thought I'd throw that in there since he does the heat treatment on about 70% of all custom knives made in the USA...

Good and rustic! I like the karambit! The blade shape is almost identical to my edc K-bit.
That's a cool knife Mike. No doubt about it being hand forged. And good job on the sheath too.
