So here's my latest adventure with fighting, or lack there of....

I'm now going to university, so its friday, I got drunk, went to another party in another residence, with four friends. Two of them drank with me, the other one had to drive, and another one drank one shot, but cried about it and wouldnt drink anymore.

We're walking through this residence, girl tells us to come to her room, theres people in there, girl says hi to me, I say hi, she says she's got a boyfriend whos 6'5 270, I say.. okay... like its not supposed to mean anything to me.

Friend who drives asks me a question about a UFC weight class... which one sherk was in now to be exact... the girl says "oh shit did you just pull the ufc card?" I looked at her like she was crazy....

We're wandering around some more... friend who drank one shot has dissapeared. Wandering around, we get a phone call , theres someone that wants to fight "samuraiGuy" ... So I'm drunk and I just brush it off, I'm on the phone with a girl I know, and this girls boyfriend comes up to me with his three friends, he is 6'5, but no more than 220. So I'm standing against this wall, I have three friends behind them, and theres this guy trying to yell at me for "trying to pick up his gf" I tell him I wasnt trying to talk to her, so theres not an issue, (about 7 times), he syas "so what did you say about the UFC, DID YOU SAY YOUR IN THE UFC!" I said "does it look like im in the UFC" (of course how can you tell, really).

He says "are you calling her a liar" and mean while his friends are like "YO YOU BETTER GET OUT OF HERE!!!!".... so eventually we just end up leaving, and someone pulls the fire alarm, we're walking back to my res, he follows us out, keeps mouthing off... whatever, meanwhile another one of my friends who had been drinking dissapears...

So than we walked back to my rez... two remaining friends left, and I went to bed.

Funny because the other guy who's into MMA fighting said, "wow I'm so suprised you stayed that calm in that situation" (against a wall with 4 people screaming at me that theyre gonna fight me). Than he says "I would have just started swinging to try to get the upper hand"

It probably would have been a 4 on 3 fight, I probably could have beat up the big guy one on one, maybe not, but obviously not his three friends as well. And by the way they were trying to live vicariously through him "HE"S GONNA KICK YOUR ASS OH YEAH!!!!"

I could tell they were obviously huge pussies.

Good story eh!

Funny thing is, if I hadnt read these boards etc... I probably would have had the same reaction as my friend whose into MMA too. It would have been a well placed, well thought out shot. But still... interesting stuff.

Well done. A cool, composed head wins over an idiot. Good self defence on your behalf and having your back aganist a wall saved you from any blind shots too obviously.

You probably feel pretty pissed off at the dude though, and who wouldn't?, but you did the right thing in this case.

Not sure if the back against the wall was a bonus really, there was 4 of them, I'm sure one of them could have sucker punched me if they decided too. Especially with the ogre taking up most of my attention, I knew the other guys werent threats until he or I did something though.

And TriangleChoke, the UFC card... I think she meant that by "pulling the UFC card".. ... which means "saying I'm in the UFC, and therefore I can beat up her boyfriend" and apparently she thought this was supposed to impress her or something. I dont know, funny thing is, me and all my friends agreed, she wasnt even good looking. What a joke.

Oh and there might be a part two, as I was leaving he yelled "if I ever see you again I'll kill you", I'm not too worried about it, and if he does end up beating me up, I'll just sue him........ lmao..... good ole north america

You'll probably be in the same vicinity again as he. As I recall, you just got up and walked away; he's probably calling you a pussy and a list of other names.

It doesn't mean much so stay cool and even try to befriend him if you can; who knows, maybe he was drunk or depressed when he said those things and maybe time/distance/state of mind could change things.

If he gets in your face and repeats what he's said ask him to say it louder and give it you you in writing.

You could go alot of ways with this.

In about 45 minutes, I've got a class with this guy, and we actually sit pretty close to each other.... sooo maybe there will be another story? lol.

It's funny because the last time I was at a party in Rez.. (dont know if I mentioned this earlier) I gave this guy some booze (I was drunk) and he HUGGED me and told me how awesome I was etc...

I doubt anything will happen today.. he'll be sober.. and probably wont say anything, even if he does in fact remember who I am. Anyway, gotta eat than go to class, I'll update when I get back.

Second of all why wouldnt I want free money if some guy like twice the size of me decided to beat me up 5 days later for saying "hi" to his gf.
