Do you carry a knife, the bad guy has one? Just in case or is there some reason, because someone else may have one to use against you. Is your training up to par using the blade? Have you ever thought what would happen if someone pulled a knife on you?
Grappling with the blade is a specialty of the Kali Silat masters and grandmasters and as in every culture, the blade is the real deal, when it comes down to it, would you be able to protect yourself against the weapon. |

Sometimes I wear a boot knife, other times I carry a stilleto, for travel I carry two razor sharp Machettes, sometimes I just carry a straight razor and other times I carry a short folding knife with combat grips. I like to take my stilleto to Church to have it blessed. LOL
