I was just explaining what I did. But for the record I am completely legit with all the necessary tax stamps, permits, and licenses, etc. So I m not really worried about the Feds.

But if the Feds are watching you...you are too important for me to know.

Along those lines I think far too many people are too paranoid about the feds and their surveillance programs. They do not spy on individuals as much as you might want to believe. They do however spy on groups but they quickly asses the level of threat and only a small percentage of individuals who they identify as having that level of importance do they carryout a more detailed surveillance on.

Who you should be worried about spying on you is corporate America who has amassed volumes of information on you and keeps it stored in huge databases. I am far more concerned about them. Remember it is financially equitable for them to spy on you whereas the government has no such incentive.

Like I said if you are worried about the government spying on you…you are far too important for me to know.

Great response. Don't confuse being legit with the Feds as being in line with State laws also. Talk about paranoid, what about the anti gun paranoids in official positions!!!

I think it's insulting for a layman to diagnose an Iraq Veteran over the internet. Hell, even a professional shrink needs to diagnose someone with an exam!!! Don't get me started on that profession. (Psychologist and Psychiatrist and social workers)

Well,

I was over there as a security contractor not part of the military, though I was a soldier once, some years ago.

My wife has put up with a lot of crap from me, I spent a year in Bosnia during the Bosnian war. Afterwards I did protection for a witness at the war crimes tribunal at the Haag who was testifying against Milosevic where I made several trips over a couple of years to the Haag. I did assignments to Chechnya and Iraq, as well as a few other places.

My wife finally said NUFF! Nuff said.

I was working on a proposal to contract with the state department to train Iraqi civilians and paramilitary forces to do security in Iraq but after I did all the work writing up the proposal my boss didn’t send it in on time and the State Department got it after the deadline.

So, I am basically unemployed right now and loving every minute of it. I do part time gun classes and teach tactical and outdoor medicine but the next time I will actually teach will be in Central America (jungle fighting) but that isn’t until after the New Year.

Enough about me though.
