My names Emma and i have a web site dedicated to women and martial arts. Ive been training in the martial arts for 5 yrs since i was 13 to now 18 i train Wing Tsun Kung Fu and im taught by Sifu Paul Hawkes.

Then I thought about how she quit college because it wasn't any fun.

Then I read the article explaining how (sic) "fractures can be potted easily" and how you should note any "change in the way the bone looks"...

Then I thought about how she quit college...

BTW- It's not about what you don't need, it's about being able to get what you need when there's no one there to just give it to you. It's about being prepared to take care of not just yourself but someone you love...

I am being nice. You need to backtrack and read her other posts to understand my nagging at her. As a parent, I hate to see young people making bad decisions, especially if they're convinced they're right.

But thats what they do. The nice part about it is the young have time to fix it. I dropped out of college, had no idea what I wanted to do. Took a couple years, worked, got my head together and went back. It might take a little time, but she will have to learn on her own. After I went back I got better grades, got a good degree and a decent job.

BTW - Your story sounds very similar to mine (Go to college, drop out, work in various menial jobs, go back to college, change majors, graduate, get a job, get another job related to the first major... Hey, at least I supported myself while I was going through all that.

Whoa! One of my jobs was loading and sorting at UPS! 4:30am to 7:30 am six days per week. Great pay, no benefits and the most gawdawful depressing working conditions. Actually, my mother, my girlfriend and her mother all conspired against me to go back to college by getting me all these really awful jobs. It worked, too.
