You live in Hong Kong? Or here in the states?

In America and in HK part of the time. Family owned business. Sometimes they need a person with the right last name in one place or the other. I just keep a chair warm in the office. Got no authority to decide anything. Boring as it is easy.

I see where 1 Pee-Pee Head guy is a great judge of liars. Good he knows lying so well. He has lots of practice I'm sure. Master Liar most likely. Sure doesn't know anything about kung fu or the Chinese language

Well, one of the companions on the 'journey' was a large, pig-type fella: Jubaji

What time period did the 'journey to the west' appear? I think it was way after China's Warring States era. Tang Dynasty?

A more recent read of mine is "Ah Q Zhen Zhuang." Lu Xun would have made an interesting politician.

Sorry for the delayed response. Damn work gets in the way sometimes. As far as I know, the true date of the story is unknown. It was told and re-told as a popular folk-tale for many years before it was written down sometime in the 14th century. It is likely much older than that.

The Three Kingdoms is always a good choice.

Have you ever read The Outlaws of the Marsh? One of my favorites.
