(With a side bar to HandtoHand.....some men may have a skewed perception on the way a woman may be conducting herself.....but that's another topic)I just wanted to comment on HandtoHand's advice...... I agree with your comments and the caveat that we should be able to do what we want without being concerned with what will provoke men's actions...because men should be able to control themselves...but reality is....they may choose not to......just as anyone should be able to run through Central Park at midnight without being worried about being mugged but reality is.... no one can. But further, why would anyone want to conduct themselves in an inappropriate manner...it is diminishing to yourself as well as your gender......just think about it. Further let me add on......to HandtoHand's tips....never leave your drink unattended....if you must leave it....order a another upon your return...and of course....safety in numbers.....avoid walking out alone.....and ty to HandtoHand for the reality check!

Reviewing what was written on this page....how did it all jump from women following a little sound advice to........women not having to go nuts pumping iron to defend themselves.......to women looking like the incredible hulk is a turn off. Look to each his own, if a woman is working out cuz she wants to look "hulk" or if she wants to be in better shape ...or if she needs a little strength to fight back against lack of morality and control that some men have in this world ... guys...did you ever think that the ladies are doing it for themselves!!!!???? my motto:" this is the body God gave me and I will make it the best I can make it." In doing so, I have gained strength, stamina, and speed......and the wherewithal to "say you better back (choice word)" ......after that if someone underestimates me...it's their own da*m fault.
Yes, the wisest and easist option is to avoid certain situations but we live in an imperfect world and any martial artist will tell you that you better have a back up plan So to all the ladies out there live righteously, keep your selves in shape for your self and God bless the lucky guy that finds us...and keep that can of wh**** *** handy!

well....thanks again for looking out for the general well-being, among other things, of the female population...and again these are all generalities....(cuz I don't want to pick a fight with anyone..including you...)I myself do not subscribe to wanting to look hulk, or mack...heck i don't even want to to look deisel....I just want to be in the best shape I can be in...married with self-defense training......for me. I have no illusions of what men are capable of..nor am I falsely secure about what all this training can/or can't accomplish. You are right in offering your original advice....but stick to looking out for women if you want to...be part of the solution ..as I hope you would be.......and leave the comments and innuendo regarding women and date her/won't date her to some other forum cuz i think it diminishes what you are trying to accomplish..........Further.......you're da*n.....(see note) fortunate to have women around....if not for us...men would be uncultured and uncivilized...(RAZZ RAZZ RAZZ...............SPECIAL NOTE: thanx for correcting my typo seeing that you are such an expert orthographer
