Mods and Admins

Hello, I know I am new here but I am surprised and the general lack of respect people around here have for eachother.

I know there will allways be knuckle heads and trolls. But as I see it there's a problem whne martial artists start acting like a bunch of 15 year old thungs and bullies.

Mods, why aren't some of these on mod status? A lot of people here spend most of there posts cutting others to pieces. Its a shame because this place is set up really well and could be a great resource.

I definently agree with you Pai, that is all I see too. Every post I see, someone is cutting down what somebody else has said. But, its just like you said, there will be knuckleheads & trolls on every forum you post on because that is just the way it is. As far as the mods, I don't know about that.

You generally will not see that as much in the Korean forum. The reason is I am the moderator of it but I am not the moderator of any of the other forums. Realize though that most of the people are 15 year old kids.

Seems the insults are usually thrown about by the same people every time (not always true). The best solution on any forum is for the serious posters to simply ignore them - just don't respond when (user name) l33thaXXors10101 insults you. It's hard but it's the only way, guys.

It usually starts when 2 people disagree about something, then they start getting angry because the other refuses to see what the other sees, then they just start biting each other's heads off.

Moderating isn't easy and it's a thankless job. It's not like we have time to watch all the threads all the time. And we don't ban people for being stupid. Otherwise we'd have about ten people online and I'd have been gone loooooooooong ago.

If you want to get rid of people ignore them.

If they get really stupid, snitch on them and we'll make short work of them.

The other side of that coin it to make everyone a moderator... and I've seen first hand how the pack turns in on itself. I'd much rather dodge trolls than play Jedi Mindfuck with rabid admins.

The choice is yours... choose wisely.
