Since her family closed down their school (Sherman Oaks Karate Studio) a few years ago, Michele has currently been teaching her own version of Tae-Bo (she calls it "Kick Butt") in the Los Angeles area and conducts martial arts seminars world wide and is still trying the acting thing. This past spring Michele recently became engaged ( ) to a guy named Steve Lax.
