Default MT: grumpy biologically?

grumpy biologically? By bushidomartialarts - Fri, 17 Nov 2006 02:35:45 GMT

=========

hi all. i'm gonna risk getting electronically beheaded, but i really want to know.

i'm sort of newly married (working on our third year) and i noticed something recently.

my wife, and many women i know, think it's okay to treat people they care about poorly because they haven't eaten.

i have never met a man who considers hunger a reasonable excuse to be rude, but it seems like many women are completely behind this idea.

first, am i making this up and being a jackass?

second, if i'm not, is there some kind of legitimate biological reason for this?

(please, god, let all the mt women have eaten before they read this)

Default reasons to be bitchy; part 3

and these are considered perfectly reasonable excuses for rude behavior;

1. hungry
2. tired
3. too hot
4. too cold
5. sickness or injury
6. hormonal imbalance
---monthly
---pregnancy
---other
7. you forgot
---her birthday
---your anniversary
---valentine's day
---mother's day
---ground hog's day
---to hold the door for her
---to hold the chair for her
---that she told you 3 weeks ago that tonight you were going to her friend's dinner party
8. you're watching something on tv she doesn't like
9. you were "a little too friendly"...
---with the waitress
---with her girlfriend
---with your old girlfriend that you hadn't seen in 10 years
---with somebody (male or female) that you work with
---with the old lady at the toll booth

Get to know the woman you're with...

In my very humble opinion, a woman who blows her gasket because she's hungry could be hell on earth during more challenging circumstances. Life is full of challenging circumstances. The last thing you need is someone to make the experience worse.

Along these lines I'd watch out for elitism and attention-whoring.

ROFLMAO!

Chalk it up to hormones.

OK, not having eaten is a poor excuse...but what do I know...I am always hungry...

Frankly, some people are just B*tches. Period! While sometime being a bitch is all a woman got going for her...it's a weapon best used with disgretion!

(But being the happy homemaker is not all as easy as it looks from the outside...there might be more to the *not having eaten* like 'Hey A$$hole...I had dinner ready and you putzed around in the Gym!'.....just an idea!)

I agree with you!

Just enough experience here to understand what you are saying, Granfire.
