I think a lot of it is personal preference.


I have used many different types of gear, and mostly it didn't seem to matter.

Not trying to leave anyone hanging. Just had my first class this week - he wants me to try a couple and see how I like it so the issue of sparing gear didn't come up. I did already buy a uniform though...

In my opinion, although it's pretty popular, Everlast makes the best stuff. Rex Kwon Do American flag pants are always a step forward too.

Everlast makes nothing for martial arts. I doubt the head gear would be approved for class.

Try Twins Gear they make great Muay Thai gear - I Train in Muay Thai and use alot of Windy Training gear - Headwear , Instep pads, Focus mitts and thai pads etc
