I thought that was a pretty funny post, actually.

I've always been the kind of guy that prefers a woman who can stand and fight on her own. My wife is an instructor in Kali and Muay Thai, and she's one of the most no-bullshit types of people I have ever met. She is fully capable of being a part of our partnership, but I am under no illusions - she doesn't "need" me in the slightest. She knows who and what she is, and she has a great mind. That we are on the same road is a convenient wonder and blessing, but I know for a fact that she will never, ever look for approval or acceptance before following her dreams and ambitions. She knows I am the same way, and we both delight in how parallel our lives have turned out to be. He strength is what I love most - she is a fighter, and not a runner.

And of course, she's reading this right now, which is why I'm blowing so much sunshine up her skirt.

I'm kidding! I'm kidding!

My wife really is all those things, and I find it so much more appealing and sexy than the barbie-doll, high maintenance, Britney Spears drama queen bullshit that so many girls are trying to be today.

I think most men would agree, honestly. We'd rather have a girl that we can hang out with, hold pads for, knife spar with, and then take out to a black-tie dinner and show than some all-pink, manicured girly-girl that plays submissive because she thinks it's waht we want type of chick. A strong woman that knows how to be a woman as well as how to be her own person? Nothing sexier!

Man, if I only I knew what it was to have a girlfriend.....

Girls that I have been out with tend to even think they can beat any man up (they usually give the 'if any man gives me grief, I can handle myself' blah blah blah) having done two classes of martial arts, or they hate any violence of any kind!!

I don't think I have met a girl who is in the middle (who I would categorize as 'normal').

As most have said, I would rather not have a completely submissive girl, but a friendly chatty girl would be good!!

Mike, I know exactly what you mean. Gotta have a woman whose straight-forward and knows whom she is.

Addressing the original post, though I'd say that it would be nice if a woman knew how to cook and enjoyed doing so. Not because she 'belongs in the kitchen' - rather that its great sharing responsibilities.

Some women can play rough and its all in good fun; you can tell.

I was with this one gal who would tackle me from my blind spot; most of the time I would roll out of it, like you would do a rolling knee-bar, minus the knee bar of course or I'd take that foot, seize it tight and start tickling it, then get into her guard...

Then there's the kind of gal that takes it way too seriously; she'll smack you upside the face - first time you're both laughing, she does it again - you tell her alright, enough...third time, you find yourself grappling...lol
