Do you participate in Martial Arts with anyone else from your family? By wontoughcookie - Wed, 19 Dec 2007 13:53:08 GMT

=========

My husband and I are working on our black belts together and I have found that martial arts has allowed us to be together more than in the past. We both have busy "day jobs" and I travel quite a bit for mine ...sometimes we find that we are so tired at the end of the day we get lazy about working on "us". Martial arts has been a great way for us to spend several hours a week together as well as give us something to "practice" together on our own.

It is crazy how busy our lives can be and how sometimes we put our own personal family and relationships last. Martial arts allows my husband and I to do something together no matter how busy our lives can be. I would say the only things that have suffered since becoming really serious about training is the cleanliness of my house :-)

Do any of you practice with any of your family members or significant others? Do you find it helps your relationship?

Look forward to hearing from everyone!

I've experienced that training with romantic partners is awesome, but romancing with training partners is a bad plan. Just my personal experience.
