In a very bad situation and all the odds are against you. you might not be able to do anything... i've seen women dead on the street i used to live on. it was a bad neighborhood. the best thing to do is not get in the situation in the first place..


"i can take care of myself".. those comments kill

thinking you can really take on a man, is foolish.

"he hits me but he loves me" that's a ha-ha


those situations you put yourself into can cause death or you to get extremely f.ucked up.

a grown mans fist can connect so hard and knock you out and that martial arts crap wont help. but i suggest a few things..


1.) stay in shape and run. if you can run, man that's one of your best defenses.

2.) if you know you are in a ruff hood, have some type of running shoes, dont be in pumps like your used to

3.) those little cans of mace work better in your pocket then on your keychain or your purse. s.hit dont be scared. walk around with it in your hand. hold it low pro, so know one knows your carrying it. and if jumps off.. act like your scared and BAMMM SPRAY THAT SUCKA... and RUN YOUR ASS OFF...

4.) dont try to put your attacker in the guard just because you know jiu jitsu

5.) if you can get your running in gear. you can hop back and forth on that bastard. dont be afraid to talk shit cause that will make think twice about should he chase you or leave.. be like "f.uck u mother flower.. you want some of me you coward! gotta attack a women you little pussy!!" And when he comes RUNNNNNNNNN! MACE HIM!! RUNNN (that's if you can run .. what i'm saying is dont panic and dont be scared)
when i was a little kid, i've seen a women do this. lol she was the block hero..that guy felt embarrest and left.. cool stuff.. a mental attack on the attacker..


just dont get in the situation but if you do be prepared cause you dont want a mans hands on you. you might run into weak men but one day that wrong guy that can bench 400 pounds is gonna be an attacker.. dont get caught slippin!

if someone is walking behind you and it's lonely dont be afraid to stop somewhere and let him pass by.. who cares if he get offended. you do your thing and he should mind his own biz.

watch what people have in their hands..that's a clue..

everything else you can learn from a self defense teacher.. the eye gouging and pokes and key attacks..

Not nesscarily. If a man attacked a man it's probably because they hate each other or they want to do some serious harm. If a man attacked a women it is probably because of rape. If you go read a statistic about rape crimes, you will find that it's rare the raper will kill their victims, most rapes can be prevented anyway, I guess we're just stupid.

Oh yea, according to scientists women can grow strength twice as faster then a man... but since we're so small, fragile and weak.. ... If he's a man, it doesn't matter what size he is, what he can do, because if he's a man, oh yea we're just totally helpless against him.

a friend of mine did this and it saved her from getting raped..

on her computer she made a card that was about the size of a credit card...printed it on thick paper, made it look all official, had the name of the most popular hospital, and what is said was that, she has AIDS and the name of her doctor is dr so and so

anyway this guy was going to rape her, she told him she had aids and could show him proof, he didnt believe her she showed him the card, he looked at it and took off. below is an example

Like most things, it depends on the situation. I saw a woman literally break a man's arm. He grabbed her, and she spun and cranked his elbow the wrong way. That s.hit was horrible, but he deserved it. He had already been bothering her before, apparently. I saw this coming out of a club, and the other folks around her (her friends, I think) claimed the guy was getting too familiar and abusive, and he wasn't even drunk.

You should have heard the screaming.

I found out later that she worked out, but she didn't look bulked out to me.

You never know.

I think it has more to do with mindset and preperation than sex. A woman with a pit bull mindset and good training could easily destroy a milktoast 150lbs guy trying to rape her.

But even I would prefer not to take on the Hulk, guys, and I'm 265lbs.

For a woman to train in any fighting style it merely serves to level the playing field. It is not a "I know how to fight no so I can kick anyone's ass!" Sometimes running isn't an option, using mace or pepper spray isn't an option. Every once in a while a woman is forced to raise the stakes by standing her ground if she is attacked by a man with no other options but to fight, every little extra that the woman can draw upon ups her chances of survival or fending off an attacker.

Besides, if a woman can do a real bang-up job kicking the crap out of her attacker, it just might make him think "is this REALLY worth the effort?" the next time he decides to attack another woman.

When a woman trains how to fight it doesn't really lead to a false sense of security, sometimes it does but for the most part it doesn't. It adds to her self-confidence and provides the tools that may save her when all bets are off or even provide an opportunity for escape. Imagine how surprised most men would be to suddenly get popped a good one in the schnoz or eye or even a good swift kick to the nuts. That little bit of surprise can provide an opportunity to escape while he is getting over the fact that a woman just popped him good.

A long time ago on the news there was a story of a kickboxing girl that got attacked by three men. She broke one's arms and hurt the other to very badly... if that proves anythin.. I dunno..:-/

And crazyjoe you have to understand that when a man attacks a woman most of the time it's because of rape, and I think about only 2 percent or so rapist kill their victims(i forgot exactly what the percent is). plus it only takes a little bit of force to stop the rapist because he/she would be looking for a very easy target that won't fight back. yet if a man attacks a man they might be going for the kill or seriously hurting them... im not talking about who can beat each other up better or whatever. and in a ring the bigger person has a better chance, but outside in real life yes the bigger person has a better chance but ive seen lots of women bigger and stronger then men, plus no matter how big you are in the real world there are no rules so you still do have weak points... u know what im talking about, but im not going to go there.

Exactly, the better skilled person has a better chance. If a woman can protect herself and really mess a dude up then all that time training was worth it. If a woman beats an attacker to the point he's begging her to stop, she should keep going until he loses consciousness then add a few rib-breaking kicks for good measure. Got the means to do it? Then cut off one of his fingers to serve as a reminder should he get the urge to try that again. I'd bet the house that the attacker would just laugh if a woman begged for the attack on her to stop.

I think the biggest thing is that women do not get the "I'm a martial artist, I can take anyone coming at me" mentality. That is just trouble waiting to happen.

Small tale:

I know a girl who always said "I'm taekwondo mastah, I'll just kick him in the balls". What she didn't take into consideration: A kick to the balls is not an instant-sure win. In fact, it usually will just make someone mad. Sadly, that's what happened. She got attacked in her back yard, she actually engaged him, closed the distance of about 8 feet she could of used to get away. She landed a solid hit to his groin, he wasn't even phased. He took her to the ground, she messed him up pretty bad I hear...took an eye she claims. All that and she was still raped... his strength was simply more than hers. She described him as being about her build. Thing that is really sad, and what she understands now, is that if she had ran to the front yard in view of people....

Well, And while what Green Magoon said is usually the case, it isn't always. There are PLENTY or rape cases that end in brutal death. There are some seriously screwed up people in the world.

Sick world we live in. I think if a woman can explode in extreme violence upon her attacker's eyes, knees and groin and RUN, she has the right idea. Above all else, do NOT freeze.
